To honor God in my writings

Taste and see…

We have been in a house renovation for 6months to date. I have been making coffee for our painters everyday. We tried different brands. When we got to Nescafe Original (btw, this is not a paid ad), it’s aroma was fragrant and the taste was flavorful. My worker came back the next day and said he switched from his brand to the brand I served.

The Bible says in Psalms 34:8 NIV – “Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” I am reminded that we should live our lives with a pleasing aroma of worship to God and as salt and  light to our family, our work, our school, our community, and our nation. So that those who doesn’t know Jesus will see the difference in our lives and they will be curious and intrigued with why this is so. Not the know it all, judgmental Christian, but a Christian that is filled with the Spirit, walking in humility and love.

In Romans 12:1‭ NIV, it says “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” The verse reminds us to repent from sin and live holy lives so that God would be able to use us as instruments for His kingdom and for His glory and honor.

God bless you brothers and sisters.
